Pour yourself into another drink and just listen while i speak. My words, they won’t come out right so i wrote them down.
You ain’t gonna like the words i say. Doesn’t matter if you listen anyway. They’re only words i need to out loud.

*How do i believe in miracles? Heaven knows i tried. Shine a light for me, so i can see why i was so scared to let you love me.

It wasn’t gonna get easier. It wasn’t gonna fix itself. Still it hurts to see you with someone else.
I’m the one who said that we, we should go separate ways. I’m the one who said with time,
but summer only made these days longer. Longer by myself. All alone.

How do i believe in miracles when heaven knows i’ve tried. Shine a light for me so i can see why i was so scared to let you love me.

I keep playing it over again in case there’s a chance this could all be a dream but i wake up alone once again.
